St. Peregrine Novena for Lisa Tobin

Most of you know that, for about a year now, my oncologists have tried one treatment after another and not one of them has worked to stop my cancer’s growth. Next Friday, I’ll have scans to determine whether the current treatment, which was just approved last February and which I started in August, is working or not. A friend offered to begin praying a novena to St. Peregrine in these days leading up to that scan and, after another friend heard about it and decided to pray the novena, too, I thought some of you also might be willing to join them (and my family) in praying this novena.

I was mixed up about the novena’s starting date… it should’ve been yesterday in order to have the ninth day be next Thursday.
