Steve Greydanus has a good review of the amazingly brilliant Inception, which I saw with the Beloved Cow on Sunday. It’s a dazzling and brainy piece of work that I loved. It’s not for kids, but not for the reason you’d think. No sex, just a little language, and lots of curiously unbloody violence. Mainly the difficulty is that the story is *so* Byzantine and complex that it’s a challenge for adults, much less children.
It’s also morally complex and the central character is also the most morally compromised. But still, an amazing piece of work.
