My wife’s uncle, Fr. Charles Hughes, a Glenmary Missioner serving in Georgia, has a blog, “Catholic Insights,” in which he shares some of his reflections and prayers. If you like it, perhaps you would see fit to recommend it to your readers.
In person, Fr. Charlie is a joyful person who inspires hope. He is known for his magic tricks, but more importantly for his analogies and stories drawn from life that he uses to teach and reach people for God. Despite having coped with a profound hearing loss for decades, he has found gentle ways to communicate the Evangel to those he meets. Glenmary Missioners focus on the Catholic minority, the unchurched and the poor in Appalachia, the Southwest and the South. Now, evidently, his mission field has expanded to the internet.
Thank you.
Check thou it out!
