Thanks to you and all the blog readers as well for the health of our newest baby girl. Josephine Immaculata was born on April 4, weighing in at 4 pounds, and is now home and doing wonderfully.
I’d ask that you and your readers please keep me in your prayers over the next few days. A theology position has opened up in the school I currently work at, and I have an interview on Monday to fill that position. May God’s will be done!
Father, thank you for the birth of this child. Hear our prayer that this man get the job he wants and that you bless him in his work and work through him. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him. We ask this through Jesus our Lord. Amen.

My sister-in-law, 36 and with a 2-year-old and 6-month old, found out she has an aggressive form of melanoma. She and her husband are both medical professionals but they’re still pretty shaken, understandably. She has faith in Christ to draw on and he doesn’t profess.
Father, hear our prayer for her complete healing. Give skill, wisdom and compassion to her caregivers and grace, consolation, peace, and strength to all who love her. Mother Mary, St. Luke and St. Peregine, pray for her. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
