I know you probably get a billion of these, but if it would merit at least one Hail Mary, even just from you, I would be so grateful. 🙂 The mother of a dearly beloved friend of mine has just come out of a double mastectomy yesterday for a breast cancer within the 2nd/3rd stage. The family is experiencing some recent hardships, including the very recent death of a son who suffered with a medical condition his whole life. So any prayers, specifically of consolation, hope and peace for the family, as well as a complete healing–Lord willing–of the mother from her breast cancer, would be so appreciated. Thank you 🙂

Father hear our prayer for this woman’s healing and for her whole family, that they may have healing, consolation, hope and peace through your Son Jesus Christ.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

St. Peregrine, pray for them.

Thank you for your prayer request section. Every time I’m in your blog and come up to a post with a prayer, it forces me to stop, come out of myself (I find that blogs, like TV, can turn you into a zombie, even when they’re good), and reach out to another person and to God even if only with a quick and simply prayer.

Anyway, I’m writing with a prayer request. My cousin’s boyfriend, Phillip, is very ill with kidney failure. He’s on dialysis, and they say he needs a transplant within a month. He’s a young man, in his twenties. Please pray for his physical health, if that’s God’s plan for him, and for him and his family and friends to be able to put their trust in God throughout this ordeal.

Father, hear our prayer for this man, that he would recover full health, place his trust in you and live out the vocation to which you call him. Grant grace, consolation and peace to all who love him and skill to his caregivers, as well as provision for his financial needs. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for all involved in this situation.
