A friend is asking prayers for their daughter, Kim, a freshwoman at Steubenville.
She woke up early Monday morning at Franciscan vomiting. We thought it was food poisoning and she was better on Tuesday and went to class. However yesterday she had severe pain in her stomach and the girls took her to Trinity health center in Steubenville where they ran a bunch of tests. After hours and hours they determined it was a very large cyst in her abdomen and the decision was made at almost midnight to rush her to Children’s medical center in Pittsburgh.
They were prepping her for surgery this morning. At this point I am not sure if her parents will get there until early afternoon. Kimberly is very nervous and scared.
Kim is in surgery now- both ovaries are involved and its questionable weather they can save either and one could be malignant. Her parents are at the airport in NY and should be in Pittsburg by 1pm.
Divine Physician guide the hands of the surgeon. Mary, hold Kim tightly during surgery, may she feel the peace of you, her mother, with her and be with her parents and her sister.
Father, hear our prayer through your Son Jesus Christ!
