TIME has a piece on “The Catholic Crusade Against a Mythical Abortion Bill“. The translation of this title into English is, roughly, “What a bunch of maroons Catholic prolifers are! Just because Obama said FOCA was his number one priority, these idiots are organizing now to make sure it never comes to his desk instead of passively snoozing and waking up some fine morning to find the Dems have rammed it through Congress and Obama has signed it. These people should stop drawing attention to this dangerous and evil proposal or it will continue to languish. Damn! We *hate* living in the one developed country with the most vigorous grass roots pro-life movement in the world! Why can’t we be like Sweden?”
