Not to inundate you with prayer requests, but if you could offer one for physical healing for me, I’d appreciate it. I had an accident last Thursday night in the shower where I cracked my head against the ceramic soap dish that’s attached to the wall. The pain was so intense that I felt weak kneed and woozy and there was a scary amount of blood everywhere. After two hours, I thought I was probably okay as the pain subsided to a more tolerable level and the bleeding was mostly stopped. Friday morning I felt fine enough to drive to Nashville and do the retreat. Since Sunday evening though, I’ve been feeling weak and my head has been hurting where I hit it. I also realized that I was kinda mildly nauseated this weekend while at the retreat. I still ate, but felt kinda green around the gills afterward. I went to the local urgent care clinic this afternoon and they’re setting me up an appointment at the local hospital for a CT scan to rule out a concussion. In the meantime, I have anti-nausea meds and pain meds.
Father, hear our prayer for her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Grant her caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, understanding, skill, creativity, insight and the proper technology to assist in that healing and give her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope and love through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for her.
