As Major League Baseball Approaches…

… McNamara’s Blog will begin showing historical images of baseball teams with some sort of Catholic affiliation, whether parish, school, or college. Seen here is the baseball team of St. John’s College (now Fordham University) in 1875. The “RH” on the front of their uniform stands for Rose Hill, the section of the Bronx where the original campus was (and is) located.
