Dear Hafsa,

We can’t begin to tell you how much joy you’ve brought into our lives. We love doing things to make you smile. You amaze us each day as you learn new things. Our hearts are warmed by your sweet breath as you sleep on top of us. We are thankful to Allah (SWT) every day for bringing you into our lives, to the Edhi family and foundation for their tireless efforts to help families like ours become whole with beautiful children like you, and also to your birth parents, who brought you into this world. While we may not share the same genes, we do share a home, and a life. You are everything to us, Hafsa, and we are honored and privileged to call you our daughter.
