September is a busy month for me, not only because it is the beginning of school, back to working outside of my home, Fall soccer season and after-school activities, it is the month that we celebrate the birth of two of my children. I’m usually a lot more organized than I was this year, but the month just got away from me. I am so very thankful that over the weekend, I was able to call my family and 1/2 of them were able to make it for dinner and cake the same day to celebrate with us.
On Saturday, my youngest asked me if I knew the song, “For The Rest of My Life.” Immediately, my brain shifts to Celine Dion or some other ballad singer that I might have heard once upon a time. I told her that it sounds familiar, but we could search for it. Then she tells me that she heard the song in Islamic Studies. That had me stumped. A short search later, we found the YouTube video of Maher Zain.

This song was quickly followed by the next video:
Which has been playing on a continuous loop in my head for the last 4 days. The best thing is when my girls break out in song because the song is on playback inside their heads too. Masha’Allah.
Happy Tuesday!
