I’ve lived in two worlds. I grew up in traditional Southern Baptist churches until I graduated from high school. Once I began serving in full-time ministry as a youth pastor, I pastored at traditional and more contemporary churches. Now I pastor a very modern Baptist church. I am just as thankful about my heritage (traditional) as I am about where I serve today (modern). In fact, each end of the spectrum can learn from the other.
