Can you believe that another year is ending? We had such a beautiful holiday season and am so excited with what the New Year has in store for us! But before we brush another year out the door, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on some of my favorite posts and give you a recap of 2016.
I am overwhelmed with the blessings the Lord has given us this year, and even though my blog is not quite where I want it to be, and it may not be paying the bills just yet, I am immensely humbled by the opportunities this blog has brought me.
And I’m overwhelmed that each of you come to follow along on making our Almost Farmhouse a home.
Vintage Inspired Laundry Room Makeover
We participated in the One Room Challenge for the first time and had such a blast making over our laundry room into a mudroom of our dreams. Our hope is to sign up again for another challenge this spring!
One of our easiest DIYs we tackled this year was replacing our light over our kitchen island and I was so honored to share our project over at Remodelaholic.
This was such a quick and easy DIY we made this summer and I was beyond excited to share this post on Hometalk’s Facebook page as a live broadcast!
A favorite highlight of this past year was the day I found out I was selected as a representative for KariAnne from Thistlewood Farms‘ new fabric line from Hoffman Fabrics. Not only did I make this fun apron, but I also created an Embroidered Coffee Cozy and a no-sew solution to create a Southern tea party.
Here are a few more of my favorites from this year – hope you enjoy!
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for sticking around this year with all my blogging changes. I’m am so grateful for all of you coming to read my blog and can’t wait to share more with you in 2017!
Blessings to you all and may you have a wonderful New Year!
