Hatred No Longer Hides
Hatred no longer fears to show his face.
Here in America, it seems to be the loud voice that is being amplified.
It performs for all to see.
Hatred shows up on our feeds, in politics, on our screens.
It has become something that is embraced, even admired.
Why Is Hatred Appealing?
In an overwhelmed world of chaos and uncertainty, hatred offers simplicity.
Leaders gain power through that simplicity,
presenting the world through a black and white lens :the villain and the hero.
In a distorted way, hatred offers those who feel lost or without meaning a common cause.
There is someone to blame and someone who claims they can save the situation.

Hatred Comes At A Cost
It diminishes our inner being until there is little room left for, compassion, love and humility.
What perhaps starts as a way of giving ground and stability slowly walls one in.
Hatred offers certainty yet no responsibility.
A false sense of belonging yet no true intimacy.
It asks nothing of a person just to harden their heart.
Fabricating what may feel like protection.
In reality just keeping us further from our humanity and,
ultimately, from one another.
Love Creates Rather than Destroys
Love creates while hatred destroys.
It does not need conflict to exist; it generates meaning on its own.
It creates relationships, trust and expands the soul, and the spirit.
Rather than closing it off to emotions, to the true values our soul holds.
Hatred suppresses our conscience and hardens the heart.
Love creates more moments of enjoying the gift of life.

What Will Make Love Popular Again
A question without a simple answer
Relearning love requires more than one’s personal intention.
It will demand courage, from those with platforms.
They will need to choose persistence and responsibility of their own profit and be loyal to the moral value love represents.
Media needs to remember how deeply it shapes the minds and hearts of its audiences, of all ages.
Political leaders must be held to a higher standard, one that values the sacredness of humanity over division.
Citizens must be willing to stand up for love, let their moral choices be heard.
In America today, love needs help.
Love does not spread by itself.
It spreads when people decide it is worth practicing and protecting for generations to come.
Alongside my writing, I have a love for music and joined forces with an Inspiring singer songwriter SHIRA. Together we have created a beautiful album arriving In March. My words her music and fairylike voice. Be With Me and Hey Joy, are two of the singles now out. They were written as offerings of connection, joy and hope. If you’re looking for a few quiet minutes of listening after reading, I invite you to spend time with them.
