*Sigh*
I love the quiet of the house after the girls are in bed. Its almost deafening, but its pleasant after the ruckus of the day.
Last night my house was perfect, tonight there are dishes on the counter and rice scattered under the table from dinner. Every child’s book we own is piled on the couch from bedtime reading. The laundry is all clean, but in a huge pile waiting to be folded. And instead of doing any of it I am on the computer.
Life is crazy and wonderful and exhausting all at the same time.
I’m excited because the Christmas present for the girls came today. I ordered this online and I LOVE it. Such great pictures, easy to remember stories. Ms. Action will be “reading” it from memory within a few days.
And to end this rambling post I’ll include pictures of our baking.
This is what the pie looks like without the help of toddlers.

You can see the holes in the top from them eating the apples out of the pie before I could get them in the oven, its amazing there were any apples left in them at all!
