Small Successes #5

I only made 2 batches of Christmas cookies, which is a good thing since I usually end up eating them all. But I was sorely tempted to make more.

2.

We had a very peaceful Christmas day, despite being super busy with church activities the rest of the month. It was so nice to just spend the day together and rest and relax and watch our babies enjoy the first Christmas that they can remember.

3.

We stocked up on 2 months worth of groceries on Christmas Eve just before we lost our ability to drive. (Get more of that story here. The “joys” of immigration!) So so glad that we were able to do that, and now we hopefully have enough food to ride this out.
