MUUUUUUch better, Barnes and Noble

MUUUUUUch better, Barnes and Noble September 11, 2014

I’m not sure how, really, but somehow between yesterday and this evening my books got turned cover out. And notice there is one fewer than yesterday, so I am assuming it was purchased and not needed as a doorstop as they wheeled in the Joel Osteen books (he gets a whole shelf of cover out books to himself, by the way).

Anyway, as I was saying, I’m not sure how this happened, though it’s not like me. Yes, I was at Barnes and Noble this evening, but only to get a milkshake, and I walked down the aisle where my books are, and they were spine out and then later cover out. So, like I said, I really don’t know.

Actually…I did do it. I stood in front of the shelf looking around like a middle-school shoplifter. Confident I wasn’t being watched, I made room by turning spine out on the shelf above some other yellow book that didn’t seem that interesting but had been cover out anyway, and moving two even less interesting books from the left side of “my shelf” to the shelf above (compare with previous photo).

Tomorrow I may go back and clear out an entire shelf for myself, because if Osteen gets a shelf for saying we go to church not to worship God but to be happy, I think I deserve a shelf, too.
