Monday on the Argumentative Podcast and Links

Good morning all! We woke up late and did a long and scintillating podcast in which we mourn the death of Anthony Bourdain, mourn the heresy of Andy Stanley, and then argue vociferously over what kind of expectations one should have for one’s president. It’s a podcast for such a time as this, and if you miss it, I just don’t know what kind of life you’ll be able to go on living. And also, sorry it’s so long.

And now, links, which I have gathered up like gems through the week. I have a whole inbox full of them.

Here is the article about the movie about Trump.

Here is the Andy Stanley clip.

Here is a brilliant book review.

And another one.

Rachael is on an interesting roll with this, and this. Has made me think again about women in the church and in the workplace. Watching the Southern Baptists with fascination as they try to sort themselves out.

KSP reflecting on her accident.

Something truly funny.

A delicious looking cake.

Something beautiful.

And something else lovely.

Something curious.

Something rich and maybe delicious.

Something else to eat.

And a fantastic sermon.

And that’s all there is, there isn’t really any more.
