In response to the claim from Trump lackey and Office of Management and Budget director Mick Mulvaney’s claim that “Meals On Wheels” did not produce “results” (like people not dying from hunger is not a result), and that cutting its funding was “compassionate,” health services researcher Aaron E. Carroll launched an epic Tweetstorm. The following are his tweets and the links to the research which shows, quite impressively, that Meals On Wheels is a very worthwhile way to spend American Tax dollars.

As Trump and conservatives gut many of the things that actually do make America great, and some would argue somewhat Christian, we need to applaud people like Mr. Carroll who do the work and expose the lies and deception being used to harm Americans. Our seniors, women, the disabled, minorities, the poor and middle class are all targeted in an effort to funnel more money to the top. Pass this information along and stop them with facts.
And maybe visit the Meals On Wheels site and see the work they do and how you can help.
