I wanted to stand down for the weekend. I’m like everyone else with half a brain. My outrage is worn out.

But I felt I had to stand with Lt Col Vindman and all the other brave people who came forward to testify about President Trump’s betrayal of our country.

The president of the United States is a traitor to this country. His own defense team admitted that he betrayed us. The Republican Senators who voted to keep him in office admitted it, as well.

Lt Col Vindman is a patriot.

So is Senator Romney.

So is Ambassador Gordon Sondland who also testified to the truth of what Trump did and was fired.

My outrage is worn out. But my sense of justice and patriotism are intact.

So is my faith in Jesus Christ. Our religious leaders’ betrayal of the Gospels to Trumpian politics of division and hate does not weaken my faith in Jesus. It focuses it on Him, and strengthens it.

Keep the faith, my friends.

Believe in our founding documents.

Stand tall for government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Trust our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Who died on Calvary to save us from death and rose again the third day as the first fruits of our own resurrection. It’s His world and His Church.

Do not grow weary of doing good. Fight for our country and true faith in Jesus Christ.

All things will be well in the end. All we have to do is our part.
