When Pope Francis ventures out in to Vatican Square, he usually attracts vast crowds of cheering people. People hold up their babies for his blessings and shout out their adoration.
But COVID has brought empty silence to Vatican Square. These days, the Holy Father walks out and prays alone, while the people who would ordinarily be there watch and pray from home. We are blessed in times like these to have this opportunity to view our pope at prayer and know that even a worldwide pandemic does not dim the light of faith.
