MAGA is Satanic and Trump is Evil.

Fear God and obey His commands, for this is the duty of every person. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad. Ecclesiastes 12: 13

Do not be overcome by evil. But overcome evil with good. Romans 12: 21

Trump worship and the brainwashed MAGA movement are obviously under demonic influence. 

I’ve never said or even thought anything like that before in my life, but I have been saying — and writing — it a lot lately. It’s what I think. Here 5 reasons why I think it. 

1.  I am a life-long Okie. Oklahoma is full of MAGA, and I know a lot of them. These are people I’ve known for decades; good, moral, decent people I have respected, trusted and loved for much of my life. 

But these days, I don’t feel like I know them at all. Whenever the subject of Trump comes up, their voices get hard and mean, their eyes turn cruel and they say horrible, immoral, vicious things that are the exact opposite of everything they have said and believed all their lives. The people they were before Trump would have been appalled by the people they are now. 

Mention Trump and they become totally indifferent to the suffering of other people, the commandments of God and to the teachings of Christ. They’re not who they are. 

When the subject of Trump is not on the table, they come out of it and seem to be themselves again. But when he comes up, they can turn on a dime. It’s like they become total strangers; hard, uncaring, immoral strangers who loudly attack other Christians for not following Trump while they themselves disavow the core teachings of Christ with a sneer. 

2. Trump has destroyed the witness for Christ in whole denominations of formerly Christian churches. The clergy — our shepherds — are shameless about excusing and supporting the blatantly immoral behavior of both Trump and today’s Republican Party. In order to back Trump, these clergy brush the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Christ aside like someone batting away a mosquito. They are not Jesus’ clergy. They are Trump’s clergy. They are preaching and teaching idolatry. 

3. Trump is destroying America. He is dismantling it like a wrecking ball taking down an old building. He has handed us over to Putin and Elon. The corruption of this administration is right out front in public. And everyone from the press to his MAGA followers seems hypnotized. It’s as if they can’t process what’s happening. As if … well … they were under satanic influence. 

4. The implications of this are horrific. The United States of America has been the lynchpin of democracy, global peace and prosperity for 80 years. Now, because of one man who is empowered by the hypnotized followership of his MAGA “base” and their anti-christ clergy, America has become the lapdog of draconian dictatorships that murder their own citizens and invade other countries in order to enslave their people and steal their resources. 

Trump is actively threatening invasions and empire building of his own. He and the Republicans in power in Washington almost routinely threaten to use government power to imprison or destroy anyone who criticizes them. Meanwhile, the mainstream media and most of the Democrats in Washington are behaving like spot-lighted deer. They’re paralyzed in some pretend illusion that this is normal and they can’t seem to get out of it. 

5. Trump’s vision for America — which he is bringing into reality at lightning speed — is a totalitarian hellscape without morals, integrity or any respect for human life or human dignity. The things he’s doing, from cutting cancer research to attacking vaccines to backing Putin’s brutal takeover of other countries, to his own threats to use America’s might to engage in brutal takeovers of other countries himself, are going to kill millions of people if they are not stopped. 

Dismantling our government, engaging in rampant corruption, constant, bald-faced lying, putting us under Putins thumb, will reduce America to the status of a third world country. His plans for internment camps, prosecuting anyone who crosses him, exercising full-on dictatorial power, and wiping away everything that makes our lives livable are straight from the pit. This. Is. Evil. 

The rabid support for this tsunami of evil from people who were once sane, coupled with the sleep-walking-and-can’t-wake-up fugue of those who should be opposing it, looks like somebody or something who is even more evil has control. It looks like demonic influence on a mass scale. 

There are other reasons — Scriptural reasons — why I have begun to think that this must be demonic, and, finally to believe that it is probably true. But these 5 things are what got my attention and led me to start praying and searching the Scripture and thinking about it. 

I haven’t come to this line of thinking easily or quickly. It’s taken a long time to get me here. I remember last summer, when I first began to come to this conclusion, I was talking to a friend of mine about it. I hesitated to raise the subject with this friend because she was the type of person who usually cut me off if I talked about my faith. But I just had to talk to somebody, and I knew that, even if she told me I was nuts (which is what I expected) she wouldn’t go talking about me to anybody else. 

I was tiptoeing around the subject, trying to hem-haw my way into it, when she interrupted me. Oh Becky, of course this is satanic! Everybody sees that!

I’ve since learned that everybody who thinks about these events and who isn’t trapped in the MAGA insanity themselves, does see it. Or, at least, the Okies I know see it. 

Of course, living in Oklahoma, we’ve all seen people we love get swallowed up in this evil. We’ve lost our family members, our friends, our churches to it. 

We’ve experienced how their personalities change when Trump is the topic of conversation. It’s easier to believe in the devil when you’ve seen him looking back at you through the eyes of someone you love. 

 So I have reluctantly, and embarrassedly, decided to begin calling this thing what I think it is. MAGA is satanic and Trump is evil.
