I’m late posting Pope Leo’s prayer intention for March. I apologize.
The Holy Father’s prayer intention is, as usual, both powerful and needed for this time in which we are living.
He asks us to pray for peace and an end to violence. In a genuine Christian manner, he exhorts us to pray first of all for God to help us purge the violence and hatred in our own hearts. Then, he goes on to pray to our dear Lord to remove the violence in the hearts of our political leaders and to spare us from the horror of nuclear war.
The Holy Spirit has given us a good pope. I am very grateful that we have him.
