We are dealing with satanic evil that has insinuated itself so completely into one of our political parties and whole denominations of our Christian churches that it has taken them over.
It has reached the point that anyone who tries to speak up for basic morality — and I mean basic morality on the level the Natural Law that St Paul wrote was encoded into the soul every human being — is driven out of their company.
A case in point is the recent defeat of Republican Representative Thomas Massie.
Representative Massie was an all-in MAGA. He voted for every stupid and horrific thing Trump wanted. Year after year, no matter what heinous thing Trump did, Massie backed him.
But when Trump used the power of the presidency to block any attempt to release the Epstein Files, Massie balked.
It seems that, unlike his fellow Republicans, Massie does have a point beyond which his morals will not allow him to go. That point is evidently protecting members of the billionaires’ pedophiles club who repeatedly raped, and, if some of the allegations are true, murdered, kids.
Unlike our Bible-thumping, holier-than-thou Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, Massie wouldn’t use his office to protect the billionaires’ baby rapers club, even if one of the billionaire pedophiles was sitting in the Oval Office. He crossed the aisle and worked with Democrats to pass a discharge petition.
That discharge petition put the bill that made it a law that the Epstein Files had to be released on the floor of the House for a vote. By combining his vote and that of a few brave Republicans, along with all the Democrats, they passed the bill.
Trump threatened and attacked every Republican who backed this bill. Marjorie Taylor Green was another all-in MAGA who drew the line at billionaires raping kids for fun. When she fought to get the Epstein Files released, Trump forced her into resigning from her Congressional seat in order to protect her family from physical violence at the hand of his thugs. When she told him she feared for her child’s life, he told her that it was her own fault for opposing him.
Trump told Massie that if he didn’t stop trying to release the Epstein Files, he was going to “come for him.”
Massie didn’t bow down to Trump. He did what was right. And Trump used all his power and enormous amounts of his billionaire buddie’s $$$ to defeat Rep Thomas Massie in his bid for re-election this week.
The only reason Trump opposed Thomas Massie’s re-election was that Thomas Massie couldn’t and wouldn’t protect billionaire pedophiles who had systematically raped young girls for years.
Trump told the people in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District to vote against Thomas Massie and elect another one of his amoral finger puppets. And the people of Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District did what Trump told them to do.
Think for a moment what that means. This was a Republican primary. Those people who voted to take vengeance on Thomas Massie for standing up against raping kids were Republican primary voters. That means they were, by and large, self-conscious, self-righteous,“Christians.”
I put the word Christian in quotes because I’m pretty sure that Jesus doesn’t hold with raping kids. He said something along the lines of, If you hurt a child, it would be better for you if a millstone were hung around your neck and you were tossed into the sea.
I’m also pretty sure that Jesus doesn’t bow down before money. I think He said something like It’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to get into heaven. He also said, You can’t serve God and Mammon.
That leads us to the problem that these voters faced. They had to choose between following Jesus — who I’m pretty sure doesn’t support raping kids — and following the man who is in page after page of on-the-record FBI reports in the Epstein Files as having beaten, tied down and raped a 13-year-old child. These reports also say Trump told the child that if she said anything, she and her whole family would be made to “disappear.”
That was their choice.
They chose the guy who’s in the Epstein files for raping a child and kicked the brave man who tried to do something about the billionaires’ baby-raper’s club to the curb.
That takes us to a point that I keep making: You can’t find a way to follow Jesus and Donald Trump both at the same time.
It’s kinda like following both God and the devil. You just can’t follow both of them. You can’t worship both of them. You have to choose. If God doesn’t make you choose, the devil will.
Representative Thomas Massie had followed Donald Trump like a blind man hanging onto a rope. He followed Trump right up until it came to helping Trump deep-six the Epstein Files so Trump could cover up what Trump had done. That was when Massie split the blanket with Trump.
And Trump sic’d his billionaire dogs and all their money on Massie. Trump recruited one of his puppets to replace Massie and went at his vengeance routine. He even got his personal news outlet and recruiting base for appointments, Fox News, to ban Massie from their network so he couldn’t defend himself in the court of public opinion.
And the majority of the Bible-banging, self-proclaimed “Christians” Republican primary voters in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District voted the straight Pedophile Ticket. They backed the baby rapers.
Trump pretty well swept the Republican primaries last week. Trump’s voters in his party kicked out anyone who didn’t bow down before Trump.
Pundits are saying that this shows that Trump has a total hold on the Republican Party.
Well. Yeah. That’s what it says.
The Massie race makes it pretty clear that today’s Republican rank and file, while they are big on saying they are Christians, are totally without morals.
If you’ll vote to protect the billionaires in Jeffrey Epstein’s baby rapers club — which is what these voters did — your so-called morals and your “christianity” aren’t worth a bowl of warm spit.
How do you and I deal with this mess? We have a president who openly mocked Our Lord by posting a picture of himself as Jesus Christ. We have a lot of whore preachers who defended him.
We have a president who attacked the Pope. We have a number of whore preachers who defended him about that.
We have a president about whom there is a massive amount of credible evidence that he is a rapist and a pedophile. His whore preachers don’t mind that.
We have a president who lies all the time and does not care if we know he’s lying. His whore preachers don’t just defend his lies, they repeat them and preach them from the pulpit as fact. They cherry-pick verses in Scripture and twist them like a rubber band to claim that God supports every evil thing Trump does and says.
What are pew-sitters like us supposed to do when our shepherds are a bunch of political whores who know not Christ?
Sometimes, the evil stinks so bad, I have to step back from it. And that’s alright. We should all feel free to take a break when we need one.
Pray the Rosary. Pray the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Pray the Apostle’s Creed.
Spend time with Jesus in the Eucharist.
Meditate on Scripture. Confess your sins. Remember your sins that God has forgiven and know that you are not righteous. You are a sinner. Your only hope of heaven is Jesus Christ.
Get back to the foot of the Cross, where you belong.
You can’t fight evil yourself. You can’t do it. If you try, you’ll end up fighting satan with satan’s weapons, and satan will end up using you to advance his kingdom; just like he’s using Trump’s whore preachers.
Root yourself in Christ. Follow the teachings of the Church. Listen to the Holy Father. And don’t be afraid. God’s got this.
Pray “Lord Jesus I trust in You.” Then go out there and do your part. Resist this evil by doing good. And know this: Satan cannot stand before the love of Christ.
