Are You Feeling Nutty Today?

Fox News is reporting this morning on another item in the President’s Economic Stimulus Plan. There’s a $4.2 Billion dollar provision for “neighborhood stabilization”. I sat and scratched my head over that one for a while until a Congressman from Louisiana revealed that that is the wording used to funnel money to ACORN.

That’s right. The same ACORN still being investigated for voter fraud and voter registration irregularities will now be getting a “Thanks, guys! Job well done!” from our esteemed leader.

I don’t know what else to say about it except call your representative and both senators and tell them that you understand “Sometimes you feel like a nut, but today we don’t.” Also be sure to tell them that the tripling of monies for their own personal expenses from $30,000 a year to $90,000 a year in the midst of a recession is ridiculous! It’s our money, people, why should we let them squander it?
