I haven’t been blogging lately. I know it. You know it. My husband tells me daily. (At least I know he reads it.) So lets move on…

I started working 2 weeks ago. Nothing big or exciting, just a part time job at the local craft store. They needed seasonal help; I needed money for Christmas. The job is okay. I like getting our of the house and talking to people. I am amazed at all of the clever projects our customers can do with a package of puff balls, a piece of balsa wood, a Christmas ornament and a glue gun….but you can do anything with a glue gun. Mine is cordless. Everyone needs a cordless glue gun don’t they?

Anyway, the store has this cool Christmas tree that I really want and can’t buy. It spins. Really slowly. I love it. How nice to be able to see all the ornaments on the tree and not have half of them facing the wall…not to be seen until the tree is undecorated and they are put away. So why don’t I buy it? There are 3 small boys in my house. I have visions of them grasping on to the branches and going for a ride, or souping up the motor so that it whirls around and flings the ornaments across the room. It would be fun to watch, but I would be the one to pick them up, so..no. I bought a nice tree that stays put. It’s not cool, but it won’t endanger the lives of those I love either.
