New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer Teases Its Dark Side

Moments ago, Lucasfilm/Disney dropped the highly-anticipated new trailer for the upcoming film Star Wars: The Last Jedi, releasing to theaters on December 15, during Monday Night Football. The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

The preview offers scenes with familiar characters such as Luke Skywalker, General Leia, and Chewbacca as well as drama with newer recruits Finn, Kylo Renn and Rey. An encounter toward the end of the trailer between Rey and Kylo Renn seems to tease some sort of partnership. Following ominous warnings from Luke during training, does she turn toward the dark side?
