New ‘Young Washington’ Scene Released for President’s Day

Angel Studios and Wonder Project released a new scene from its forthcoming project, “Young Washington,” tied to the US celebration of President’s Day. The clip sees Washington (William Franklyn-Miller) speaking to Major General Edward Braddock.

Arriving in theaters nationwide the day prior to the United States’ 250th anniversary, “Young Washington” chronicles the formative years of George Washington and the events that shaped him into America’s first president.

“Young Washington,” stars William Franklyn-Miller (“Dongji Rescue,” “Medici”), Mary-Louise Parker (“The Institute,” “Weeds”), Kelsey Grammer (“Cheers,” “Frasier”), Andy Serkis (“The Lord of the Rings,” “Planet of the Apes”), and Ben Kingsley (“Gandhi,” “Schindler’s List”).

The film is directed by Jon Erwin (American Underdog, House of David), and is written by Erwin, Tom Provost (“Under Suspicion”), and Diederik van Hoogstraten.
