Steven Curtis Chapman recently revealed plans to release a Spanish version of his RIAA Platinum certified hit single “Cinderella” with worship group Miel San Marcos. During an interview for his new marriage book “Still Here,” co-written with his wife Mary Beth Chapman, the GRAMMY Award-winning and GMA Dove Award-winning artist shared the news exclusively with Reel Faith.

“Cinderella Español will release on Friday,” he said., “I’m releasing a duet with Miel San Marcos. They’re a, they’re a Spanish singing and mainly known for worship music, very big in that communit. But they are fans of my song ‘Cinderella,’ and we got together and did a version where half is in them singing in Spanish, English, and we’re going to release that which I’ve never done anything like that.”
During the interview, Chapman also revealed an upcoming duet with the group Caleb and John, and an instrumental version of “I Will Be Here” coinciding with the audiobook of “Still Here.”
“Because we read the audio book, and in the audio book, . . . each chapter ends with a little instrumental interlude, and then the ending is that ‘I Will Be Here’,” he said. “So I thought, ‘Well, I should release that (so people could play it) at a wedding or whatever.”
“Still Here” is currently available from B&H Publishing.
