You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t made much of a big deal about my upcoming speaking event at Princeton Seminary’s “Leadership and Spirituality: Revealing Your Greater Purpose.” Instead of drawing attention to myself as the much sought-after luncheon guest speaker, I tactfully posted a couple of very compelling articles that politely hinted at the event. No, I did not go all social-media obnoxious with the thing, I just trusted that the right (smart) readers would connect the dots: “Huh. This is great stuff. Hey! I’m a leader, too! Maybe I should be at this event! Plus, I’d ever so much like to meet this Bradley character in person.”
Well, folks, now it’s Go Time. The big event is this Sunday and Monday, April 11 and 12, at the Erdman Center of Princeton’s Theological Seminary. I’m not sure what exactly I’ll be speaking on yet at this luncheon event, so, well, pray for me. I think I’ll read a couple of favorite posts from this past year, like When Jesus Was a Consultant, and Everything Looks Like a Failure in the Middle.
Or not. We’ll see where the Spirit leads.
