This is bad news for Delaware.
This story has our newsroom scurrying around like … well, you know. But if this outbreak of avian flu is not contained, it could have serious, serious consequences for the poultry-dependent economy of lower Delaware.

Despite the effects of avian flu on the "poultry industry," at least the state can fall back on its other economic mainstays: shrimp, heroin and sex tourism … wait, no — that's Thailand — for Delaware it's DuPont, lottery tickets, offshore banking and sex tourism.
