(John and I were both at the Inhabit conference over the weekend; it was wonderful as always and we will get some reflections on that posted later this week.)
TODAY is the last day to vote for the Englewood Neighborhood on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis (where I live, work and worship), in its quest for a $25,000 grant Neighborhood Assist Grant from State Farm.
Can you do two quick things that will be a huge help us?
1) Make sure that you vote 10 times for us today. (People are allowed to vote daily, so even if you’ve voted previously, we’d love to get your vote today. The competition is being run on Facebook, so only Facebook users can vote)
The links to vote are:
Computer: https://www.state-assist.com/cause/61/gardens-for-growth
Mobile devices: https://apps.facebook.com/sf_neighbor_assist/cause/61/
2) Get one or two other people to vote for us. Actually, talking specifically to a couple of people and helping them vote, is much more effective than generally sharing a link on your wall. It could be a parent, a spouse, a son/daughter (as long as they are at least 13 and on FB), a close friend; who is that person (or two) who you could easily get to cast 10 votes for us on this last day?
If you’ve already done these things… we are very appreciative!
Thanks again for your friendship and support in this effort over the last few weeks!!!
