In his seminal work The Mystic Heart: Discovering a Universal Spirituality in the World’s Religions, Wayne Teasdale intimated that, because mystical spirituality is the origin of all the world religions, the real religion of humankind can be said to be spirituality itself. Brother Wayne, who was a Catholic monk who lived as a Christian sannyasi according to the Hindu code of renunciation, didn’t reject the world’s rich diversity of religious expression, rather he wanted to make available to everyone all the forms the spiritual journey assumes. That’s exactly what this blog aims to do.
