My student was beyond excited to report back to the class. The week before, I’d taught a simple technique during my energy healing training program. She’d had reason to use it right away.
She relayed the story.
Her son, a preciously precocious five-year-old, had decided to cut his finger. He wanted to see what his blood looked like. Was it red, like in the picture books?
He sliced himself close to the bone.
I’d just been teaching my class about the “God Spot.”
I know it’s not politically correct (PC) to use the word “God” in energy medicine. But there is a particular reason that label for whatever you personally call the Oneness is just right.
I’ve taught about the God Spot for many years, but for some reason, this group grabbed the idea and ran with it. As I explained to them, the God Spot is a unique space in the center of the chest. Herein lies our own in-dwelling spirit, God’s spirit, and another very special ingredient.
A cell from the body of God.
This physical area is noteworthy in various esoteric traditions. The God Spot lies near the Tan Zhong or acupoint for heart health in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In TCM, working this acupoint releases anxiety and fear. In many Native American communities, participants are asked to speak from the heart during ceremony.
The God Spot is also smack dab in the middle of the heart chakra, the subtle energy center that links all other chakras. This chakra is home to the physical heart, which emanates more electrical, magnetic, and electromagnetic energy than does the brain. Besides generating a field stronger than does any other organ, the heart interconnects us to others. And when spiritual attributes are meditated upon within this area, healing effects occur throughout the body.
For all of that, the God Spot adds even more potency to energy healing performed through this bodily area. The reason?
In that it is proposed to contain a physical cell of God, interactions through this location represent love made manifest in material reality. Right down to your cells, DNA, and sub-atomic wave-particles.
This concept has changed the life of the student who I already introduced.
As she watched watching her son’s finger gush blood, she focused on her own God Spot. She mentally decided that her son’s cut needed to close. It did.
He was very mad. In fact, he was so upset that he parted the wound with his fingers. His mother closed it again. It remained shut.
Since this interaction, other students working with this concept have shared that their chronic conditions have improved. Many started feeling happier and healthier. Their own clients responded. The simple and single key seems to be a willingness to operate through the God Spot.
I think it’s significant to call this place the “God” spot because it’s non-PC to employ the word “God” these days. The label “God”—versus Universe, Oneness, Christ Consciousness, Higher Power, and the like—confers the image of God most employed in the Abrahamic religions. The picture is of a Caucasian man with a long beard sitting on a throne.
In whatever ways this visual might trigger us, the idea of a human-like God works for rather than against us when we’re seeking healing on all levels of our being, especially the physical. While terms like “Oneness” are beautiful, when we desire concrete change, our subconscious will respond more heartily to the idea of a God with a BODY than a Universe that is Spirit. If one of God’s cells lies within us, it can then deliver healing energies throughout every part of our material self.
My experience as an intuitive energy healer is that it’s terribly difficult to transform the physical body. Everything is made of energy, as Albert Einstein established decades ago, but very little is composed of physical or measurable energy. In fact, the physical energies of an object register much less than 1 percent. The rest is subtle energy, which is often equated with quantum wave-particles.
Most of the people in the energy medicine field know that physical or psychological conditions, including cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, anxiety, depression, and more, are greatly impacted—if not largely caused—by subtle energies. But simply moving subtle energies, such as through feeling feelings and changing beliefs is often not enough to significantly impact physical reality.
The idea of a direct-connect—a unique one at that—enables transformation to land. Physically.
If in fact we are linked within a Unitary field, which quantum physics is proposing, it’s not a stretch to actively consider that an aspect of that entirety lies within us. Why wouldn’t the Greater Consciousness also have a foothold within our smaller one?
Perhaps what my students have been experiencing is an extension of the placebo effect, which has been shown incredibly strong. Basically, studies show that what you believe will tend to happen. Is that so bad?
To operate within your own God Spot is quite easy. Simply focus on the space under your sternum in the center of your chest. Now think about this area as inclusive of your spirit, the Divine spirit, and most importantly, a cell of God. Through this physical link, all things material is possible. The power of love can be delivered straight into your own and others’ physical reality. Now simply meditate on that connection and follow any intuitive guidance received. Herein lies the power of grace, or love that makes a difference.
