Quick test: who should be really happy now that the Confederate flag is now as popular as head lice?
You’d think that liberal black activists (oh-but-I-repeat-myself) would be sitting back, thankful that their message has now been accepted, thankful they’ve shamed those conservatives into accepting their point of view, and thankful that the new era of racial reconciliation is here.
Oh didn’t that era arrive when we elected Barack Obama? Nevermind that. It’s here again.
Except.
Apparently, racial reconciliation was not what they had in mind. Shaming the south into taking down the Confederate flag thing was just the first step of many. They weren’t acting in good faith to get rid of racism. They never do.
Here’s what Louis Farrakhan just days after the whole nation flipped on the flag:
Louis Farrakhan stated “We need to put the American flag down. Because we’ve caught as much hell under that as the Confederate flag” in remarks before the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, DC on Wednesday first reported by DC’s WMAL.
Farrakhan said, “White folks march with you because they don’t want you upsetting the city, they don’t give a damn about them nine.”
So… let’s get this straight.
The whole nation was shamed by the finger wagging liberals, and good Christian men like Russell Moore took them at their word. Not wanting to cause offense, they decided “Hey, they’re right. Let’s take the flag down and show them that we love and respect black people.”
But is that the message the so-called “black leaders” took?
Nope.
Because they knew the Confederate flag was just the beginning. Already, people are talking about taking down the Jefferson Memorial, because Jefferson owned slaves.
Here’s the truth. Liberals took advantage of a national tragedy to shove their agenda down our collective throats. When everyone responded exactly as they should’ve wanted, they weren’t satisfied… because it was all in bad faith.
You want the past to be the past, so-called black leaders? Well, the flag is coming down.
Now, please take a second to enjoy the cultural moment and stop boring us with your drivel.
