Celebrity sycophants of Hillary Clinton are completely wrong about her qualifications

Celebrity sycophants of Hillary Clinton are completely wrong about her qualifications June 27, 2016

The drool that Hillary Clinton causes to fall from her celebrity endorsers’ mouths could solve the water crisis in Africa. Unfortunately, it’s all wasted at Clinton’s feet as they worship at her altar.

George Clooney, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, and Katy Perry all have something in common with their favored presidential candidate in that they aren’t beholden to the truth. The fact that they can ignore her abysmal track record while holding public office and still find her qualified to be president is beyond any conceivable rationality.

Clinton’s laundry list of scandal is enormous and downright criminal: Her use of an unsecured, personal server to send classified documents, political bribes filtered through the Clinton Foundation, perjury, the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi thanks to her failed leadership. Not to mention the fact that she has flip flopped on multiple issues, including same-sex marriage, immigration, gun control, the Iraq war, and on and on.

But all of this is ignored by her Hollywood posse, who continue to tweet and hashtag their support in hopes to carry her all the way to the White House. Jon Kraushar collected a best-of (worst-of?) celebrities gushing about Hillary’s qualifications and posted a few at Fox News.

Comedian Louis C.K. was uncharacteristically serious when he said:

“It’s like if you were on a plane and you wanted to choose a pilot. You have one person, Hillary, who says, ‘Here’s my license. Here’s all the thousands of flights that I’ve flown. Here’s planes I’ve flown in really difficult situations. I’ve had some good flights and some bad flights, but I’ve been flying for a very long time, and I know exactly how this plane works.’”

Kim Kardashian took two seconds away from posterior selfies to give kudos to Clinton on Twitter:

“I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country!”

George Clooney, along with his wife Amal, have both hosted and participated in fundraisers for the Hillary Victory Fund. The cost to sit in a room full of liberals? $33,400!

Robert De Niro believes Clinton has “earned the right to be president:”

“I think that she’s paid her dues. There are going to be no surprises, and she has earned the right to be president and the head of the country at this point. It’s that simple. And she’s a woman, which is very important because her take on things may be what we need right now.”

Katy Perry has taken the “#ImWithHer” campaign so far that she is regularly adorned in outfits with Hillary’s “H” logo.

Lady Gaga lived up to her name with this social media post:

“#HILLARY2016 Nothing can keep a strong woman down. VOTE for the first female US president in history. Shake it up America, this country needs a little rock n’ roll.”

The award for most ironic moment goes to actress Kerry Washington who invited Clinton to the set of the show she stars in, Scandal. SCANDAL, people!

President Obama has sipped the Kool-Aid, too:

“I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office. She’s got the courage, the compassion and the heart to get the job done.”

Courage, compassion, and heart are not the words I would use to describe Hillary Clinton.
