The “anti-violence” Left really loves to threaten Republican candidates

The “anti-violence” Left really loves to threaten Republican candidates September 18, 2016

Liberals are hypocritical. It’s no mystery. They talk a good game of tolerance, peace, love and respect, at least for each other, but don’t extend the same courtesies to their political foes. And right now, enemy number one is Donald Trump.

The Hollywood Reporter caught up with former Tonight Show host Jay Leno who had some choice words for the Republican presidential nominee. As someone who has said in the past that he’s never voted for a conservative in his life, it doesn’t appear that he’s changed his mind. Leno’s fix for Trump? Violence:

”I think this is the problem with Donald Trump. I don’t think anybody has just ever beaten the crap out of him, so he has this attitude of ‘whatever.’ When you have the crap beat out of you, you learn how to negotiate, you learn how to deal with people. You learn that kindness is the greatest virtue you can have.”

Wishing violence on someone else is “kindness” now? It must be, because Leno describes himself as such, telling THR, “That’s my attitude about life, just trying to be kind.”

Could’ve fooled me!

Some people wouldn’t wish violence on their worst enemy, but Leno is doing so on someone he’s interviewed a dozen times throughout the years. And here I thought the Left was anti-bully!

Imagine the outrage if Leno said this about President Obama or Hillary Clinton. He would never live it down. But Trump and other Republicans are fair game. Case in point, Sarah Palin. Instapundit reminded of the time a Reebok ad depicted a football player violently slamming the then-vice presidential candidate to the ground. Stay classy, liberals!
