A month after I praised superstar model Kate Upton for honoring our brave men and women in uniform, all of those who have died for our freedoms, and standing up for the United States – “the most special place in the world” – her fiancee has taken a stand for every single life and the sacrifices made for each of us.
Justin Verlander is one of the best pitchers in baseball. Engaged to Kate Upton and being a sports star that understands a thing or two about honoring the national anthem before every game, he took to Instagram and Twitter earlier this week to make his own statement about the protests begun by Colin Kaepernick earlier this season.
Just sang the Canadian national anthem on TBS and we here in America can’t stand together for our anthem. #alllivesmatter #TogetherStronger

Progressive are always talking about how we should be united, but Verlander shows here that Hillary and her friends don’t own the market on unity. In fact, he inverts her slogan to make it #TogetherStronger.
I like that, because it shows who really wants to unify us here. It’s a sad day when we need models and baseball players to stand athwart progressive posturing in media, sports, and entertainment to remind us of the simple truths that we’re all Americans, we should be uniting instead of dividing, and it should be fairly easy and straightforward for us to take a few moments together before sporting events.
Even President Obama said he wants Kaepernick and the others to realize they need to consider the pain of military families that may be caused by these protests.
This shouldn’t be that hard, people. Get it together.
