During the campaign, Sheriff Clarke was frequently seen by the side of Trump, talking about law and order. The Sheriff, who ran as a Democrat in Milwaukee County, even spoke at the GOP Convention. (He, by the way, got the longest standing ovation of the whole event, when he forcefully declared that “Blue Lives Matter in America!”

After Trump won, Sheriff Clarke was discussed as a possible Cabinet member and will probably serve in some way in the administration.
