President Trump continues to make good on his campaign promises, and one of them — not taking the $400,000 annual salary — just did something amazing for our national parks.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced this week that Trump is donating his first three months of salary to the National Park Service, all $78,333.32 of it!
Isn’t that awesome?
Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said the funds will be used to maintain historic battle field sites, according to The Hill.
We can expect more as there is still over $300,000 of Trump’s salary to donate. It will be exciting to see where the rest goes.
