A particularly good week for the ladies of the Cotillion Ball which, if you haven’t been keeping up, is a kind of “Carnival of Conservative Women,” inspired by conversations a few months ago asking, “where are all the women bloggers?”
They’re here, and their clear, get used to it! :-) As usual, the hosting duties are being shared by three ladies beyond the overall roundup so well-done by Sadie of A Fistful of Fortnights.
e-clair has framed her section around a wonderful display of old and new dancing shoes. I like shoes…and they are used to stomp on or dance around subjects like the lost meaning of words in a world of euphemisms, Islamic message boards and…umm…asparagus.
Beth at My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has brought the music – via the Mickster – to the dance – she is, after all, a honky-tonk expert of a sort! And her crew are covering Susan Torres, the Harry Potter phenom, John Roberts, Mexico and Funeral-crashing Lt. Gov’s.
Who Tends the Fire has writers discussing everything from Margaret Cho’s dog to those ubiquitous nail parlors which are popping up everywhere.
Take the time to visit all three parties – there’s some particularly good stuff this week!
