Cotillion is up, and sparkly

Cotillion is up – there seems to be a theme of shiny latex, sparkly bangles and…well…I’m not sure what to make of it all, (it appears I did not make the kickline, but I understand – I’ve got the arthritic knees)…but as ever, you can be sure that the gals are worth reading.

This week’s hostesses are Small Dead Animals, Maxed Out Mama, Darleen’s Place and Baldilocks.

Now, some of you might be surprised to see a trooper like Baldi in the mix, but I happen to know something about Ms. Baldi that might surprise you: like me, she is a sucker for beautiful fabrics, and will talk your ear off – even unto the wee small hours – about the gown Audrey Hepburn wore in Roman Holiday, or that sprightly lawn frock worn by Scarlett O’ Hara in the opening scene of Gone With the Wind. If you ask her, she will tell you precisely how she would like to see Laura Bush dressed on next year’s Christmas card! Now you know! :-)

Alrighty, then, onward. You’re going to love the Small Dead Animals Kickline, which is very clever, and Maxed Out Mama is very smart, and her entries range from the funny to the sublime…so don’t mess with her…just have a dance and let her lead you around the room!
