Alexandra outdoes herself for Pajamas!

Oh, I’m sorry, not for Pajamas Media but for Open Source Media, which had their launch yesterday.

I like the minimalist graphic, but I must say, I think Alexandra’s graphic is a brilliant masterpiece! and on top of all that, she also has the best notes on the launch I have yet read. Head over there – it’s really great!

They must be doing something right, they’ve managed to awaken the easily-roused ire of the elegantly fussy and disdainful James Wolcott, who could be predicted to hate it. He hates everything that is not a reflection of his own bilious, superior sort of queenly cynicism.

No, I did not attend the launch. Aside from the fact that I’d have to do it in a habit, with sunglasses and wax lips, I frankly would not have had the energy to do a day in NYC, just yet. It would have laid me out quite nicely in one of those rose-and-cameo caskets that are so popular these days.

Yes, I am a part of it but a “quiet” part, as is my wont. I do believe my profile will be next week or sometime in the future, and the rest will follow. It is quite a nice thing to be a minor associate of some of these folk, too.
