  • I’ve recently discovered a great podcast for moms in general and working moms in particular. Kindled is “a podcast on work, motherhood, and the grace we need for both.” I especially enjoyed the episode on March 12, and look forward to listening to others.
  • I’m a longtime reader and big fan of the Catholic baby name blog Sancta Nomina, and I’m so excited about her upcoming book! I’ve already read it and written an endorsement for it. It’s a must-read for anyone like me who is obsessed with Catholic baby names. Check it out!
  • Have you ever read Unfinished Business [affiliate link] by Anne-Marie Slaughter? It’s a fascinating (if somewhat depressing) discussion about the struggles of women — especially those in high-profile jobs — to balance career and family. One of these days I’m going to do a more in-depth review, but in the meantime I recommend it.
  • Another great article along those lines is “The Lab or Love? Catholic Women in STEM Careers” by Dr. Stacy Trasancos, wherein she discusses how difficult it can be for Catholic women to balance a desire for a career in the STEM disciplines with marriage and family.

Do you have any media suggestions (podcasts, books, articles)? If so, leave them in the comments!
