I posted this book update on my Facebook page and in the Catholic Working Mothers Facebook group, but I just realized I haven’t posted the news here yet!
I have a release date for my book: May 28, 2019! I’m so thrilled to have a release day that has such deep personal significance to me — it’s my oldest daughter’s baptism anniversary (5/28/2005) and the day before my First Holy Communion & Confirmation anniversary (5/29/2003). My middle daughter has her FHC and Confirmation on June 1, less than one week later, so it’s going to be a crazy fun summer kick-off for our family!
Even more exciting, the book is now available for pre-order at Amazon. Click the cover image below to check it out or pre-order!
There’s still some data to be filled in yet, but we’re getting there! It’s so amazing to see MY BOOK on Amazon! It’s the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
It’ll also be available from OSV’s online store at some point, but I don’t believe it has a page there quite yet. There is, however, a page on Goodreads.
Some answers to FAQs:
Q: Will there be a Kindle version?
A: Yes, there will! I don’t have an exact timeframe for when the Kindle pre-order will be available, but I’m guessing sometime in May.
Q: Will there be an audiobook version?
A: Not to my knowledge, but that might be an option in the future if the book does well enough.
Q: Are you having an online launch party?
A: Yes! I’m still in the initial planning stages for that, but stay tuned for details.
Q: Are you having a real-life launch party?
A: I’m not sure, to be honest. I’m still mulling that over. Part of me wants to, but the other part of me is terrified that the only people who would show up would be me, my husband, and my kids. So… jury’s still out on that.
Q: Are you going to do any book signings or book tours?
A: Maybe! Right now I’m sending out inquiries to local Catholic bookstores asking about doing a local event, and I’m investigating the possibility of traveling to a few places to do an in-person signing, if there is interest. I can’t afford to go to many places, but I could maybe manage a few (especially if they are within reasonable driving distance of the metro Phoenix area). I’m also looking into the possibility of setting up a blog tour for the book as well. If you know of a Catholic bookstore interested in hosting a signing, or a Catholic conference or event interested in hiring me as a speaker, let me know!
