US DEATHS from the coronavirus will reach 410,000 by the end of the year – yet Donald Trump describes his own brush with the COVID-19 as ‘a blessing from God.’
Thousands infected or indirectly affected by the virus were left quivering with fury by this crass, insensitive statement from the White House plague rat, but none more so than sports and political commentator Keith Olbermann who describes Trump as “an inhuman creature and a terrorist” in a video he released yesterday. In it he says:
We all know this, we all fear this though many of us refuse to say this aloud: negligently or intentionally, the President of the United States is a mass murderer.
Trump’s statement has sent social media into a frenzy. Here’s a sample from Twitter:

I feel great. I feel, like, perfect. I think this was a blessing from God, that I caught it. This was a blessing in disguise. I caught it, I heard about this drug, I said let me take it. It was my suggestion.
He also promised to bring the drug to the American people free, hawking it – falsely – as a “cure”. There is no cure for Covid-19.
He told Americans he wanted them all to get the drug used in his treatment, Regeneron:
I want to get for you what I got, and I am going to make it free. You are not going to pay for it. It’s not your fault that this happened, it was China’s fault, and China is going to pay a big price for what they did to this country, and what they have done to this world.
Update: Weighting in on yesterday’s debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence – “who’s so full of crap that he’s attracting flies” – Trump today (Thursday) called Harris “a monster” and claimed that she would swiftly replace Joe Biden if the former VP assumes the Oval Office.
In a “wild” interview with Maria Bartiromo of Fox Business, he also branded Harris “a communist”:
I don’t think you could get worse. She’s a communist! We’re gonna have a communist?
Also she’s:
Well beyond a socialist who wants to let killers and murderers and rapists pour into our country.
Later in the interview, Trump called Harris a “monster” who got “destroyed” by Mike Pence at the debate.
Oh, and he’s refused to take part a virtual debate with Biden.
