Win a free copy of Rachel Held Evans’ book: Year of #BiblicalWomanhood November 1, 2012

I’m excited to announce that I have 3 copies of Rachel Held Evans’ new book, A Year of Biblical Womanhood: How a Liberated Woman Found Herself Sitting on Her Roof, Covering Her Head, and Calling Her Husband “Master”.

To win a copy, share this post on Facebook or Twitter (tag me if you can!). Then, leave a comment, logging in with a valid email address so I can contact you easily.

I’m working my way through the book as we speak. I’m about half way through and hope to push ahead even further in the next couple days.

For now, let me say that one thing that strikes me about Rachel’s book is her tone. She is humorous and humble simultaneously, just as I know her to be in real life. She is insightful and accessible. She is on a mission to draw out the liberating ways of Jesus without coming across as merely pushing a feminist agenda – she loves the bible too much for that!

I implore you to read this book, even if you don’t win a copy of it for yourself in this blog giveaway. Also, keep your eyes open for a my upcoming review!
