Many of you have noticed that I haven’t been writing as often for the past couple of months. That will hopefully change toward the backend of summer. I’m in the midst of several life changes. I ended a job, will start a new job, am planting a church, moving 950 miles to a new city and state, had my first baby girl, and the list goes on. This, as Lauren and I said as the clock counted down to midnight on December 31st is the “Year of change” for our family.
It’s also the “Year of Change” for how many of us read our favorite blogs. I know my posts haven’t popped up in your feed too much lately, but in anticipation for a fresh season of blogging, I hope you will switch your Google Reader feed over to an alternative blog reader such as Feedly. I switched over about a month ago and have loved it. The process takes less than a minute and can be done on their App or website.
This is a heads up, obviously, because I don’t want to lose contact with so many of my awesome and faithful readers. Secondly, I hope that it helps you organize your online life a bit as well.
So, here’s what you will need to do:
1) Go to the Feedly site or App (ios or Android).
2) Use Feedly to log into your current Google Account.
3) Watch as all of your current feeds are seamlessly transfered into their awesome format.
4) As a favor to your friends, retweet or FB share this post so that everyone knows about Google Reader. I’d have been bummed if I wasn’t made aware of the fact that Google Reader will no longer exist as of July 1!!!!
THAT’S IT!
