The Omnipresent God

The Omnipresent God October 4, 2021

God is everywhere. He is always with us and around us. God is seated on His throne but His presence is not restricted to His throne. He is best referred to as Omnipresent, just as He is omniscient and omnipotent. God is a supreme being that has no beginning or end. He is the only true God. This is because technically, the unchallengeable God and the most powerful God is the only true one. He is full of might, power and glory. He is our Heavenly Father, the Father of all creation and the Creator of the universe. We are the children of God and as children, we are just like Him. We owe Him honor, adoration, anf worship for His majesty and sovereignty as God Almighty.

Just as the children of a king have a filial relationship with their father and also pay allegiance to him, in the same way, we owe God all reverence and honor. God is spirit, the Father of spirits and lights. He is most high, he judges all things and all things are accountable to Him. Because He is ever present, we are always before Him and under his gaze. We should be conscious of this. We know how to behave before dignitaries and VIPs, how much more God Almighty?. God sees everything, knows everything and hears everything. Our innermost thoughts are very clear and loud to Him. Whatever we think, imagine, say or do, He reacts to them all personally. This is because He expects us to be aware of His presence and to give Him reverence in all our ways.
We cannot do anything we want without remembering His eyes and ears. Anything we do without regard for Him is an insult to Him and He has his way of teaching people.

Let us begin to be aware and conscious of God who is always with us. He is always around us. He hears what we say, imagine and do. As he is taking in all of our deeds and actions, He is weighing them and giving out the proper recompense. It’s not like we should sneak around and pretend. He knows us very well, he does not miss the slightest imagination. It is now clear that God knows us more than anyone else does, it is best to come clear about who you are with Him. Tell Him your deepest secrets, your hideous habits and grevious sins. Admit your wrongs, weaknesses and shortcomings, and ask Him to help you.

Let us pray right now that God will help us to always feel Him around us, to be always conscious and aware of His presence. Let us pray that we will always perceive His heart, his emotions, his thoughts, that we feel the fullness of His person in every moment of our lives. Let us never feel alone.

May His presence be with us wherever we may be. Let us feel His thoughts for us, his eyes over us and his ears on our daily contemplations. Just as Jonah could not get away from the presence of God but was followed even into the belly of a fish, may His presence never depart from us in Jesus name. As we feel Him, let us perceive his purity, holiness, peace, joy, might, glory, light and clarity in our spirits. May we bear Him within us and bring Him to the world around us in Jesus name, amen.
