Advice for Muslims: How to deal with a Trump Presidency.

1) Read the story of the Children of Israel and Pharaoh!

To begin with, breathe, calm down,  pray and read the story of the children of Israel and Pharaoh. Muslims throughout history have had to deal with the various pharaohs of their era.  Such individuals displayed characteristics of  immense arrogance, aggression, and implemented a plethora of oppressive policies. They erroneously believed that the temporal worldly wealth that they accumulated rendered them self-sufficient and independent.  They urged not the feeding the poor and were tyrannical in their leadership.  Ultimately, in the Qu’ranic  account of Pharaoh and the Children of Israel, Allah(SWT) reminds us that he has the ability to humiliate tyrants and oppressors of his worshipers.  

Realize that if Donald J. Trump carries out oppressive policies and measures against Muslims, that we have God to turn to for support.  These actions of oppressing and persecuting Muslims who only seek peace and to worship Allah(SWT) have divine repercussions. Though, many Muslims are fearful during these turbulent times we should remember to put our trust in Allah(SWT) as the source for our strength.
